Private Duty Caregiver Needed

Amaray Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide physical assistance and emotional support to a client who is unable to care for himself due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

The ideal candidate will treat the client and his home with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, while remaining attentive and empathetic at all times.

A male caregiver is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Personal Care & Mobility Assistance:
  Assist the client who cannot walk independently and is at a very high risk for falls. Provide hands-on support with walking, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). Ensure the client’s safety at all times.
• Meal Preparation & Medication Assistance:
  Prepare meals according to the client’s needs, assist with feeding if necessary, and provide medication reminders and assistance as prescribed.
• Home Assistance & Errands:
  Perform light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other essential errands as needed.
• Companionship:
  Provide companionship and conversation while offering emotional support, encouragement, and engagement to promote the client’s overall well-being.
• Additional Support:
  Assist with general daily living needs and provide limited financial assistance if required, such as accompanying the client to the bank or helping with bill payments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Health Care
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work 30 hours per week
