Private Duty Caregiver Needed

Silver Spring, MD - Temporary to Full Time

Amaray Care, LLC is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our growing team. If you have a passion for helping others and making a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized in-home care and emotional support to individuals who need assistance due to aging, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. We are seeking professionals who treat every client with dignity, respect, patience, and kindness while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
  • Provide medication reminders and accompany clients to medical appointments.
  • Run errands and provide transportation as needed.
  • Offer companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support.
  • Encourage clients to remain engaged, active, and as independent as possible.
  • Assist with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Support clients with basic financial tasks when authorized, such as bill payments, banking, or balancing a checkbook.

Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving, CNA, CMT, HHA, or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
  • Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
